Prior to founding Capstone, Samawi built a career encompassing ten years on
Wall Street. As Vice president at Tullet & Tokyo in New York, Samawi founded
the Treasury Arbitrage Group later expanded and re-named the Tullet
Relative-Value Group. The Group's primary focus was monitoring a wide-range
of assets in search of promising arbitrage and inter-market spreading
opportunities. The Relative-Value group concentrated on volatility arbitrage
trades for fixed income assets in the United States, Germany, Japan and other
G-7 countries. While at Tullet, Samawi helped create the Treasury "Rate-Lock,"
which provided an efficient hedge for interest rate movements. Samawi also
co-designed the treasury option/swaption arbitrage model, and worked with
a technical modeling team at Tullet to integrate this feature into the Tullet
technology infrastructure.
Prior to his tenure at Tullet, Samawi served as Vice president at Intercapital
Brokers, inc. where he introduced the "resettable cap and floor" product to
the inter-dealer markets. This product proved to be a useful tool for interest
rate hedging, and was often embedded in retail oriented structured products.

University and a certificate in E-Business strategies from the Thunderbird
Executive Education program. Samawi further completed continued education
programs at The New York Institute of finance for futures, yield curve arbitrage
